ILIANAI TORRES-ROCA, MD
Dr Ilianai Torres-Roca is a Board Certified Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist. She is originally from Puerto Rico and is fluent in both English and Spanish. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Psychology from Boston College in Massachusetts. Then she returned home for medical school at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. She did her residency in General Psychiatry and Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She served as Assistant Chief Resident on her fourth year of training and Chief Resident of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Program on her fifth year of residency. She worked at the Meier Clinics for five years and in 2012 started her own practice.
Dr Torres-Roca integrates different modalities of therapy including cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy together with medication management when indicated. She believes and focuses in treating the child as an individual and not a diagnosis. Every child is different regardless of their diagnosis and background. Her goal is to develop each child's individual potential to the fullest while integrating that child in a family unit and school system that may help in attaining that goal. She has been on D Magazine's list of Best Pediatric Specialist in Dallas from 2014-2023.

BRANDON J MILLER, MD
Dr. Brandon Miller is a board certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist. He graduated with a Bachelor’s in Biology from Baylor University and a Master’s in Biology from The University of Texas at Arlington. He attended medical school at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas. He completed a residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso, Texas and was in private practice for four years. Dr. Miller subsequently changed career paths and completed a residency in General Psychiatry and a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Scott & White Medical Center in Temple, Texas. Dr. Miller believes that every child is different and treatment plans will be tailored to that individual child’s needs. He uses a combination of therapy techniques with medication management as needed. His goal is to minimize the amount of medication needed that will achieve the treatment goals of each individual patient.

SARAH WALKER, LPC
Sarah Walker is a licensed professional counselor who specializes in helping people of all ages deal with life transitions. She believes the therapeutic relationship provides a safe environment for children and adults to address the difficulties of life. Sarah enjoys helping clients develop a clear sense of self and coping skills to achieve their personal goals and improving their quality of life. Whether it is anxiety, depression, despair, grief, anger or confusion, cognitive behavioral therapy combined with other modalities can be effective. Sarah has a Master’s Degree from the University of Central Oklahoma and has been a licensed therapist since 1998, working in both Oklahoma and Texas. Sarah's background allows her to draw from a broad range of experiences including day treatment, inpatient crisis care, adoptions, home studies and private practice. These opportunities have given her an appreciation for the uniqueness of each individual client. Sarah’s Christian values and belief in the family unit shape her clinical work and influence her practice.
LOIS WARD, RN
Nurse Lois Ward graduated from Baylor University School of Nursing. She has been working in the mental health field for over twenty years. Most of her experience over these years has been participating in the care of children and adolescents with mental health issues . Lois has worked for Dr. Paul Warren and at the Meier Clinics. She has been Dr. Torres-Roca's right hand since 2007. Lois has been considering retiring for over 10 years and she is finally doing it in April 2024. We will miss her a lot but are super excited for her.
MICHELLE NOVOA, RMA
Ms. Michelle Novoa is our receptionist, scheduler, office manager and biller. She is the person you will see when you first walk into our office. She is also the person that usually answers our phone. She is fluent in English and Spanish. She is very friendly and diligent at her job. If she does not know the answer to your question she will find out for you. She has been part of our team since 2014.
